Wow so long and so sorry!

Wow! Its been a long time since I've been on here and so much has changed in my life and business. For those of you who know me and follow our web site you know that we have temporarily closed our wedding business in Georgia because we were temporarily moved with the millitary. Also you may or may not know that my family is especting a new arrival in October. So with all of this transition we have been taking things easy and only taking in business by word of mouth. The plan is to grow the portrait side of our business over the next year after our new baby boy arrives. I am very excited about this transition and look forward to turning over a new page in photography. I am very eager to get back behind the camera and start practicing new techniques. We look forward to our business taking off again in 2011 and I can't wait to catch up with everyone.

Here are a few pictures from sessions that I've done in the past few weeks. Yep, thats me and my husband in our maternity pictures. I'll do my best to keep everyone up to date on the business and life in the Holland house. Next week I will be sure to post a few pictures from a recent newborn session. So cute! Stay tuned!

Adriann & Clint .... and of course Lola

Adriann and Clint got married on July 4th at Clint's parent's house. It was beautiful farmland and so many different areas to use for photography. It was a great family gathering and the bride was beautiful. Clint is one lucky guy! Lola their dog was the flower girl and she stole the show. I've just started working on these pictures last week so there will be more to come this week. Stay tuned and have a great week!

Erika and Tressavant - Wedding - Lamberts Place- Norcross

Well for those of you who don't know my family has been very sick. Tommy came down with the flu, then bronchitis, then pneumonia and to top things off I got the flu this past week. I have never been the type person to stay in bed, even when I am sick, but I have to admit this one got to me. I was in bed almost five days straight. I have many thanks to give to Erika as she has patiently awaited her wedding pictures through all the illness that has been in my house. So please if you are waiting on pictures from me know that I am behind. Thankfully I do not have any weddings for the rest of August and plan to be fully caught up before the end of this month.

Erika and Tress had a beautiful wedding at Lamberts Place in Norcross. I would post more pictures but I'm sorry to say I still am not feeling well, but I certainly hope that you enjoy these. The lights were low and the bride and groom were beautiful. They had a large wedding party of friends and family that adored them. Congratulations you to and thanks again for all of your patience.
